MIDDLE STATES SELF-STUDY

Welcome...
T
his web site supports Mansfield University's Middle-States accreditation self-study process. We encourage you to visit here often to learn about our self-study efforts.

Our self-study forms the basis of an accreditation effort that will be ongoing through spring 2002. It is part of a process that all regionally accredited universities in the United States complete every 10 years. Our work began during the spring 2000 semester as the Mansfield Self-Study Steering Committee planned the self-study. As the fall 2000 semester starts, a group of subcommittees will begin their study of selected areas of Mansfield in depth. The theme for our accreditation study is "understanding our past, creating our future."

While the steering and subcommittees have a special role in the process, all members of the University community will be involved at various points. It is important that everyone affiliated with Mansfield understand and support the process. Updates will be posted periodically, and you are invited to visit often to learn more about our self-study. You can also come here for links to information about MU assessment studies and related institutional research reports.
